Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah: Access to microfilmed records of the federal government, most U.S. states, and thousands of U.S. counties.

National Archives and Records Administration, Fort Worth, Texas: Access to federal population census collection. The main department of this branch contains Native American records.

Dallas Public Library, Genealogy department, Dallas, Texas: Access to books and periodicals collection, maps, historical archives, oral histories, photographs, and abstracted Dallas County title records.

Texas State Library and Archives Commission, Austin Texas: Access to vital records index, land records, historical records, Confederate Pension Applications, Republic of Texas claims, tax rolls, and county records and newspapers in microform.

Broadmore Branch of Shreve Memorial Library, Shreveport, Louisiana: includes the collection of vital records, conveyances, and succession records for all but the ten parishes in Louisiana that will not allow their records to be published or microfilmed.

Mississippi Dept. of Archives and History, Jackson, Mississippi: Archival Reading Room gives access to the Civil War collection, maps and manuscript collection.  

Alabama Dept. of Archives and History, Montgomery, Alabama: Access to newspapers, both hardbound and microfilmed, from various Alabama towns and counties. Extensive Alabama research collection.

Georgia Secretary of State, Archives and History Division, Atlanta, Georgia: Access to published and unpublished records, non-governmental documents of historical value. Also contains over 30,000 microfilm reels, Georgia county records, Bible records, and some municipal records

Edgefield County Historical Society, Edgefield, South Carolina: Access to records of the old districts of South Carolina, plus many family histories.

North Carolina Office of Archives and History, Raleigh, North Carolina: Access to county, state agency, census, military, Bible, and cemetery records.

Birmingham Public Library, Birmingham, Alabama: Access to family histories, published records, periodicals, and newspapers.

....Additional experience in many county courthouses throughout Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.
